Collaborative Environmental Leadership Project
The Collaborative Environmental Leadership Project was conceived in recognition that the great environmental challenges of our day —
climate change, biodiversity loss, and toxic pollution — are adaptive challenges. While much previous environmental progress was enabled
through passing laws or pursing lawsuits, these strategies often bred conflict, and are not suitable for making adaptive change.
In partnership with Concur, Inc. and with funding from the Bullitt Foundation, Exloco is pursuing a three-phase program to design a
collaborative environmental leadership training program. This program will build the capacity of environmental leaders to effectively
initiate and collaborate in efforts that maximize the potential to affect change while avoiding the pitfalls that stall progress.
